Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon have made an announcement that they are departing from TAPE Incorporated. During a Facebook livestream of "Eat Bulaga," Vic stated that as of May 31, 2023, they will be saying goodbye to TAPE Incorporated. Although "Eat Bulaga" aired a replay episode on Wednesday, the hosts appeared on the Facebook livestream to bid farewell to their viewers since they were not allowed to air live by the new management. Tito mentioned that they all came to work today but were not permitted to broadcast live. Tito and Joey expressed gratitude towards the advertisers and fans who supported Eat Bulaga over the years. Earlier, the speculations around "Eat Bulaga" were addressed by TAPE's CFO and Dapitan Mayor Bullet Jalosjos during an episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda." He had stated that TVJ would remain in the show. However, Tito and Vic have now confirmed their exit from the network.
