Firefly AI, developed by Adobe for its Creative Cloud suite, is a collection of AI models that aim to enhance and simplify creative workflows in Adobe applications. These models utilize neural network tools and were trained on a dataset consisting of images from Adobe Stock, open-licensed works, and expired copyright material from the public domain.

One of the primary focuses of Firefly's AI is generating effects for both images and text. A notable feature is its ability to modify and create content-aware images directly within Photoshop. Using a feature called Generative Fill, Firefly enables users to make changes to original images such as adding or removing objects, altering weather conditions, and adjusting the shape of objects. These modifications take into account factors such as perspective, lighting, and style. By utilizing natural language, users can quickly generate desired content in a matter of seconds.

Currently, Adobe Firefly is only accessible in Photoshop versions 24.6 – 24.7. However, it is recommended to take advantage of the capabilities of this service now.
