For Amo, you may take Cosh before taking Amo seminar because there are learnings from Cosh that is expected of you as Amo when you attend the Amo seminar – this is as per our former COSH graduates who are took Amo after Cosh. PCAB requires Amo to undergo 2-day Amo seminar. This is conducted by Dti.
Pcab requires Ami and Ste to undergo Cosh training. It is a 40 hours or 4 days training for Amo and Ste. If the Amo is a Prc licensed engineer or architect with at least 3 years experience, he can be the Amo and Ste at the same time. If this is the case, then only 1 person needs to undergo Cosh. If the Amo is not an engineer, another employee, an Ste must be hired by the Amo and he/she should also attend Cosh training. Note that contracting companies need a safety officer per site or project location. An SO must undergo Cosh training to meet Pcab requirement for So.
